Just like Galchenyuk, who missed the entire year of his draft year and habs rushed him to the line up, habs have no one to blame but themselves for rushing TWO #3
OA centers into the NHL. If KK breaks out in CAR, blame ducharme, if he flops, Bergevin got lucky by not matching.

Bergevin should be blamed for that dumb offer sheet. The value was fair, but they shortened the term Carolina was probably aiming for, so it ruffled feathers with no chance of being successful.

Thé moment KK agreed to sign an offer that included an insult to the Canadiens, life in MTL was over. I truly believe that he was poorly advised by his agent, not for the 6.1 but for the insult….it may come and haunt him one day. Good luck in Carolina…… but now is time for MB to go get a Top 2 centre. They have picks and players…. Do your job MB! BTW, I would definitely like to see more “hostile” offers in the future…I just don’t understand this gentlemen agreement poop!!

I really thought with Bouchard coming on board, the Habs finally saw the light in proper player development and asset management.

Guess not, that never really happened, except for a few marginal NHL players.

And now Bouchard is gone too.... that might be the biggest loss of the off-season.

depends if his replacement is good or not.
as for kk, he was not the bpa at the time. far from it. they went with the position instead, and got burned. that was the first mistake. before managing the development.

I saw this coming. Totally on the organization as they developed KK poorly and messed with his potential. How I loathe how horrible Canadien dev. system is. The worst.

Ducharme is not the only one to blame if KK breaks out it is the whole management team but I want to see how MB will replace KK and Danault in the lineup
